Honey Bees

You can thank a pollinator for

1 out of 3

bites of food you take!

We offer honey made from our very own girls on the farm!  Our little girls work hard gathering pollen from neighboring farms as well as our blueberries, rasberries, apples, mullberries, gladiolas, the fields of wildflowers we plant and many vegetables we grow to make a uniquely "Shore Farm" mix that has a wonderful flavor.

Bees are remarkable animals.  They are smart, and not just for a bug.  Scouts will go out and find yummy food, then come back to the hive and do special dances to tell the rest of the workers where the yummy food is, they will even hand out samples!  The hive works hard pollinating our food for us, then they give us honey too!  Amazing creatures.  I'm proud to be a bee owner and to do my part to try and make sustainable food.
